Leaving nothing unpublished, even if it's already published, vol 2:

When I begin flagging energy-wise I have 2-4 tablespoons of nutritional Brewer's yeast in milk at breakfast. This allows more latitude in my "sins" of sugar/caffeine/alcohol.

Of course, the problem is if I'm low on energy I don't have the will/energy to eat right. The very definition of a viscious cycle.

But don't do as I do, do as I say.

How about flax seed meal with those essential fatty acids? I barely notice it in cereal milk and peanut butter sandwiches and yogurt and smoothies. Make sure you use meal and not whole flax seeds if you try it though.

I feel kind of off posting this food stuff with what's going on elsewhere right now, but at least this is about using food to take care of our God-given health and not gluttonous self-indulgence.

Thanks for the tip. I'll see if there's any at the local GNC. As I get older I'm finding eating right is really no longer an option but a necessity.

You can probably get it at your ordinary grocery store. We do -- Bob's Red Mill brand. If not, maybe a Trader Joe's? It's food, not just a supplement. The reason for using the meal, if I understand correctly, is that the unground seeds can easily go undigested and thus not benefit you nutritionally, or benefit you as much... not sure exactly how it works.
